Yes indeed, on Pride Weekend Eve 2020 we had one of our very own NYC-based beloveds bless the IG  Live for a very raw and impromptu music set dedicated to blackness and queerness as only they could.

We organized a mix standing in solidarity with those who are on rent strike and facing financial oppression. For those on the ground doing the work, for those collectively organizing, and anyone who uses music to inspire, fight, rage, heal.

The magic of DJ-ing for an audience is very similar to the art of preparing food for guests. Both disciplines require an understanding of ingredients, be it in the form of music or flavors. They also require the chef/selector to mix them in a way that consumers can enjoy and remember.
